MRI BRAIN

TECHNIQUES – Sagittal T1W Axial T1W,T2W,FLAIR, DWI&ADC Coronal T2*GRE Post-GD 3plan T1W

FINDINGS;

– Minimal hemosiderin deposition along bilateral inferior cerebellar fissures, revealing liner dark SI on T2W and blooming effect.

– Suspicious intermediate SI on T1W and blooming effect on T2*GRE lesion in posterior SSS, associated filling defect in a post-GD image.

– Mild diffuse brain atrophy.

– A 9.5×5 mm dark SI of the extra-axial lesion along the right-sided anterior interhemispheric fissure.

– Normal SI of brain parenchyma.

– No midline shifting or brain herniation.

– No hydrocephalus.

– Clear PNS and mastoid air cells.

IMPRESSION;

– Minimal hemosiderin deposition of SAH along bilateral inferior cerebellar fissures.

– Suspicious intermediate SI on T1W and blooming effect on T2*GRE lesion in posterior SSS, associated filling defect in a post-GD image; **Venous sinus thrombosis is questionable??

– Mild diffuse brain atrophy.

– A 9.5×5 mm dark SI of the extra-axial lesion along a right-sided anterior interhemispheric fissure; DDx is calcified falx or calcified meningioma or hemosiderin deposition.
